A trained architect and engineer, Fred
Perie first creates during 15 years simulation softwares
applied to the mechanical behaviour of materials. He
particularly works on instabilities and the emergence of
forms, a question which still underlies his work. In 2004,
he commits himself professionally into a visual research
through landscape interventions as well as real-time video
installations. He is concerned by the techniques, as
representations of our relation to the world, and by the
resulting traces. This produces transgressions and
ephemeral traces, an ambiguous writing of the world. Exhibition/Festivals
